USB drive is 3.0 USB hard drives work when formatted with ExFat. They may not when formatted with Mac OS Extended (not confirmed). The players work with USB drives up to 2 TB . Any drives larger than that need to be partitioned with MBR. USB drives require a read speed of 8MB/sec. Players support movies in RMVB/RM (RV 8/9), MOV / MP4 / M4V in h.263 or h.264, MPEG 1/2 (VOB), MPEG-4 (XVID/DIVX), WMV7/VC-1, MKV, AVI, TS/TP, VOB, PMP, AC3 and DTS formats. Players support audio in mp3, wma, AFE, FLAC, OGG, APE, AAC, AC3 and DTS formats. Players support photos in JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG formats. Players support subtitles in SMI, ASS, SSA, SRT and SUB formats.
